Hunger Days

As human beings, one of the best ways to truly understand the life that other people have to live is to walk a mile in their shoes. It’s about attempting to immerse oneself in their experience. This is a tall order, considering just how busy our lives are. We all have responsibilities…work, family, etc. It’s just not practical for most of us.

Or is it?

We live in a world where it has become very easy to detach ourselves from the issues that affect the poorest and most vulnerable people. The Eat Hunger Initiative gives us an opportunity to experience, even if for only several hours and at a much lesser scale, hunger. Hunger Day is a day you choose to experience hunger.

This experience is the norm for a large amount of people today. We hope to get people to reflect on their experience, share it with others and, hopefully, reshape their thinking about the world and how they can impact it.

Check HERE for details.

You make what we do possible. We are really grateful for your support.
