Cammie Sorensen
Cammie graduated from University of Wisconsin with a degree in Communication Science and Rhetorical Studies. She currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Legacy Financial in Madison, Wisconsin. In her spare time, Cammie loves to travel, problem solve, and spend time with family and friends.
Efosa Ojomo
Efosa came to the States in 2000 to attend Fisk University. He later graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2005 with a degree in Computer Engineering and began working for National Instruments shortly thereafter. He began his career at National Instruments as an Applications Engineer in the company's Austin, Texas headquarters where he worked for about a year and a half. In December 2006, he moved to Madison, Wisconsin and began the role of Sales Engineer for National Instruments. In his spare time he enjoys reading books on development economics and Africa, working out, listening to music, listening to music while he works out, and watching both biased and unbiased news channels. Efosa does not like vegetables.
Emmanuel Oriri
Emmanuel has a background in both finance and information systems, and served clients in Biotechnology, Insurance and Healthcare companies. He worked for Ernst & Young's Advisory Services practice until recently moving to Canada to be closer to his fiancee. Emmanuel received his B.S degree in Information systems from the Louisiana Tech University and an M.S degree in Finance from the University of North Texas. When not in front of a computer, Emmanuel enjoys thought-provoking documentaries, mind-boggling movie sequences, good conversations, and anything that stimulates the mind, like a chess game while sipping on herbal tea.
Ese Efemini
Ese graduated from University of Illinois, Chicago Medical School and is currently in the residency program at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Upon completion of his program at MCW, Ese plans to move either down south or to the West Coast to practice medicine. When Ese is not delivering babies in the hospital, he loves exercising, watching movies, and dancing.
Femi Owoyemi
Femi attended Fisk University where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in computer science and business administration in 2004. Femi currently works with Asurion Corporation in Nashville, TN as a Management Analyst. Femi loves the outdoors and listening to the news.
Francisca [Maame Esi Ampiaba] Abanyie
Fran graduated from Rutgers with a degree in Chemistry and went on to medical school shortly after. She is finishing her residency in Philadelphia and plans to move to Atlanta for an Infectious Disease Fellowship with the ultimate goal of securing a job at the Center for Disease and Control working on eradicating malaria. She loves mentoring and encouraging others, reading and writing poetry, cooking, baking, and traveling. She is the only female of four children.
Jeff Meisel
Jeff graduated from Kansas State University in 2004 with a degree in Computer Engineer and International Business. He currently works as a Product Manager for National Instruments in Austin, TX. In his spare time, Jeff loves to travel, play basketball and golf, and learn new languages. Jeff has a beautiful seven year old daughter. He goes by the nickname J-Meis.
Jeremy Akins
Jeremy is a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan, receiving his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Engineering in 2002 and 2004. He moved to Madison in 2005 to take a job with Epic supporting medical software. When not working he still manages to find other reasons to stare at a computer screen, but also enjoys reading, being outdoors, and cheering on the resurgent Brewers (formerly a lifelong pursuit of futility).
Kate Bruce
Kate graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Philosophy and International Studies and later went on to law school at University of Wisconsin - Madison. She is originally from Minnesota and has returned home to work for a law firm based in the Twin Cities. Her hobbies include running, traveling, cooking, art museums, reading, good restaurants, and watching movies.
Silas Zirn
Silas graduated from the University of Wisconsin with an Electrical Engineering Degree in 2005. He works as a Test Engineer for GE Healthcare in Madison, WI where they design and manufacture anesthesia ventilators and life support equipment. He likes to travel, work on remodelling his home, enjoy the outdoors, and working on unusual projects like turning his jeep into an amphibious vehicle.
Terry Esbeck
Terry has over 20 years of General Management experience in manufacturing businesses both domestic and overseas. This background is built upon an Industrial Engineering education augmented with formal training in business and strategic planning. His career began in manufacturing and manufacturing operations management. His hobbies include gardening, downhill skiing, photography, golf (very poorly), and windsurfing. He has been married to the same woman for 48 years, has four children (now adults), and 11 grand children.
Toun Okunnu
Toun graduated from the University of Lagos in 2005 and began law school the following year. Her hobbies include, in no particular order, traveling, meeting new people, helping people, watching movies (old and new), attempting to keep fit, and photography.
